Experiment with reactive "Volcano" glazing over the top with smooth inside. Shared explosive oven incident with the "Volcano" artifact.

The start of the series. Comfortable volume: 50 ml.
It looks like the cap of a panther cap mushroom: brown “Volcano” glaze, raised pale speckles and good drips near the rim. During the firing someone else’s piece exploded next to it, and the shards stuck to the glaze inside. I ground the surface down but left the marks: the kiln neighbour’s accident became part of the bowl’s character.
Where it went: for a long time it was my favourite. It got lost in a festival field near an airfield. It may still be standing somewhere in the grass.
